The Honor 7X smartphone will go on sale today for the third time, on Amazon India at 12PM. The device with 32GB storage/4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 12,999 while the 64GB storage/4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 15,999. The device was recently sold out in seconds during the second flash sale, which was held on December 15.
Additional offers from Amazon India include no cost EMI, starting at Rs 1,083 per month, which is available up to 12 months. Apart from this, Airtel users will get 90GB worth of data for free and 80 percent off on Kindle eBooks.
As the Honor 7X is exclusive to Amazon India, Airtel prepaid users will get an extra benefit of 15GB 3G/4G data per recharge for 6 recharges (on 349 prepaid recharge) on purchase of Honor 7X. On the other hand, for postpaid users, Airtel will offer a benefit of 15GB 3G/4G data for 6 months on postpaid plan of Infinity 499 and above on purchasing the Honor 7X.
In terms of specifications, the Honor 7X features a 5.9-inch Full HD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. It will be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage variants and supports expandable storage via microSD card of up to 256GB. It comes equipped with a 16MP + 2MP rear camera along with an 8MP front facing camera. The Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3,340mAh battery.
At this price, the Honor 7X competes with the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. This device will go on sale today as well at 12PM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, for the 64GB, 4GB RAM variant, is currently priced at Rs 12,999. Flipkart is offering a discount of Rs 2,000 which brings the price down to Rs 10,999. Additionally, customers can get up to Rs 12,000 off on exchange with an older smartphone. This means, a customer can purchase the Xiaomi Redmi 4 from Flipkart, for as low as Rs 999. It will be available in Dark Grey, Black and Gold color variant. The Lake Blue color variant was sold out.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 for the 32GB, 3GB RAM variant which is currently priced at Rs 10,999 receives a price cut of Rs 1000 and is now available at Rs 9999. Additionally, customers can get up to Rs 9,000 off on exchange with an older smartphone. This means, a customer can purchase the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 from Flipkart, for as low as Rs 999. Axis Bank Buzz credit card users will get an additional 5 percent off.
