Telugu Titans raring to go in Pro Kabaddi season 5

The Rahul Chaudhary-led Telugu Titans, runner-up in previous season of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), is raring to go in the season 5 beginning here on July 28.

"The last four Telugu Titans matches were very close.

Hence the team has been prepared to be tough and confident.

The players have undergone intense physical training to build physical and mental strength.

"Every one of us is very excited to test our new players at the bigger platform and take Kabaddi to the next level which has been our commitment," Gautham Reddy, team owner of Telugu Titans, said here today.

The 'poster boy' of Indian Kabaddi (Rahul Chaudhary) has been the mainstay of PKL since its inception in 2014.

Captain of the Telugu Titans team, Chaudhari has also led his Uttar Pradesh team to a gold medal in the 2015 National Kabaddi Championships, a release from the organisers said.

The international draft for the Fifth season of PKL, too, has received a strong response and 27 international players have been signed up from nine countries, it said.

The 12-city league will now see new heroes and "partnerships" emerge, the release added.
