A day after resigning as an administrator of Indian cricket, noted historian Ramachandra Guha on Friday opened a Pandora's box by raising concerns over the way the sport is run in the country.
Guha accused the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (COA), from which he resigned on Thursday, of "silence and inaction" over many issues such as conflict of interest and the "insensitive" manner in which Team India head coach Anil Kumble has been handled.
In a letter written to COA chief Vinod Rai, Guha questioned the veto power given to Virat Kohli in selection of a coach. He also sought the rationale behind offering former captain MS Dhoni a Grade A contract by COA.

Guha expressed disgust over the unprofessional way the fallout between Kohli and Kumble has been handled. As a parting shot, Guha accused the COA of "silence and inaction" thus putting a question mark over Rai's intentions to carry out reforms as ordered by Supreme Court.
