Ashes 2015: Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun trains England batsmen in the nets!

Such is the greatness of Sachin Tendulkar that even his son can train international teams - against seam bowling.

One would think that Joe Root, Alastair Cook and Co would use past or present international bowlers to hone their skills against left-arm seam bowling, in the nets ahead of Thursday's 2nd Ashes Test at Lord's - which will feature a far pacier, bouncier wicket than the one in Cardiff.

Instead, they are using the services of a certain Arjun Tendulkar to help them prepare for Australia's left arm seamers, Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell Starc.

Sachin Tendulkar's son is said to be a talented left-arm pace bowler, and England have been quick to notice this. They have assigned Arjun the task of bowling seam in the nets. 

Sachin has already introduced Arjun to the 'Sultan of Swing' himself, Wasim Akram - one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time - to learn the nuances of left-arm swing.

In May, Wasim said of Arjun: "He is as enthusiastic as any 15 year-old passionate about cricket in India and Pakistan would be. I gave him some general tips about fitness and wrist position. I told him how to bring the ball back into the right-hander. I told him to practice it for three months and then I promised to teach him how to take the ball away from right-handers."

If Tendulkar jr is anywhere close to being as good as Wasim describes, Australia's Mitchells could be in for a tough time from Thursday.
