Dutch footballer Wesley Sneijder has put Manchester United and Manchester City on alert saying that Inter Milan would sell him for “the right amount”.

“All I know is that Inter need money and apparently I’m for sale for the right amount,” the BBC quoted Sneijder, as saying.

“I’ve not spoken with City or United so I cannot say anything about my future,” he added.

Sneijder has been linked with United all summer, but City is poised with a £34 million bid.

The 27-year-old midfielder will be in London this week for Holland’s friendly with England at Wembley on Wednesday.
