Royal Challengers Bangalore files statement of ownership details

Amid the raging controversy over IPL teams ownership, Royal Challengers Bangalore, owned by liquor baron Vijay Mallya, has filed details of its ownership with the registrar of companies.

The details were filed yesterday in response to a notice issued by the registrar of companies, a UB Group spokesperson told PTI in Bangalore.

"We received the notice on April 20 and it was duly replied the same day. The Bombay Stock Exchange has also been notified about it", the spokesperson said.
