Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has said that the national team is in dire and immediate need of professional coaching.

He said that had Pakistan not dropped so many catches during the Sydney Test match, the team could have easily defeated Australia and that, too, by a big margin.

Inzamam also held Pakistan’s batting and fielding responsible for the defeat, and said that a team can’t win a Test match by dropping so many catches.

The 39-year-old emphasized that Pakistan’s fielding had always been unimpressive, but it was still far better when compared to their current performance.

He further said that skipper Muhammad Yousuf should not be blamed for the loss, as Pakistan had outplayed Australia in the first three days of the match, but were unlucky that it changed dramatically on the last day, The News reports.
