Wild card entrant Modern School, which got a last minute entry, justified the decision by becoming first team to reach the final beating Bishop’s School by a solitary goal. They will now take on winner of the match between GS Moze School and SNBP.
In the girls’ segment, St Anne’s School were beaten by St Patrick’s High School 1-3 in the under-14 category. ‘Keeper Shiny George was the star. “This is for the first time that we are in final. I am really excited,” said Shiny, who made three brilliant saves.
In the girls’ U-12, Anglo Urdu defeated St Clare’s 3-0 to enter the final. In the U-16 category, St Joseph’s High School, Pashan, beat St Clare’s High School 3-1.
