Arsenal is better side than Barcelona: Shakhtar Donetsk's Darijo Srna

Arsenal is a better side than Barcelona at the moment, according to Shakhtar Donetsk defender Darijo Srna.

The Ukrainian club plays Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in a Champions League game between the two sides.

Shakhtar Donetsk reached London last night, the Sun reports.

Shakhtar have played Barca twice in the last two seasons - in the Champions League and the European Super Cup - and the defender believes that their current opponents are a cut above the Catalan crop.

"They are a very quick squad whose offensive players are really strong and aggressive. I would say they are performing even better than FC Barcelona now," Darijo Srna said.

"But we are also a good squad with strong players. Shakhtar always create lots of attacks but, perhaps, there will be less offensive action here in London," he added.
