New Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas makes his players see highlights of Manchester United’s Premier League winning season so that they can learn a thing or two, assistant first team coach Roberto Di Matteo has revealed.
“On the very first day at Cobham, the manager showed all our players a video of United’s season,” the Sun quoted Di Matteo, as saying.
“They are guaranteed to be up there as they are accustomed to winning - even if their stars are a year older and veterans like Gary Neville and especially Paul Scholes are gone,” he added.
Di Matteo, however, believes that Manchester City have overtaken United as the biggest threat to Chelsea’s title ambitions this season.
“City have spent well. If I had to bet, I would say more City than United will challenge us this season,” he added. (ANI)
