After India lost the ICC World Twenty20 semifinal to West Indies despite making 192 batting first, former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag has criticised MS Dhoni's captaincy in the big game.

In his video column for Cricbuzz, Sehwag said Dhoni's captaincy was partly responsible for the loss.

"I think in yesterday's game because of the dew and because of the two no balls India lost the semifinal. They did very well in the powerplay. Our spinners were unable to control the ball properly due to the dew, and the two no balls cost us the game (sic)," said Sehwag.

"Dhoni is a good captain, he has good batting skills and has won many games for India. His captaincy is good, but wasn't good in the semifinal. He could have given Ashwin two more overs, I don't know why he didn't".

Interestingly, Sehwag also revealed at the beginning that he would be coming out of retirement since the fans wanted him to do so. However, at the end of the video, Sehwag revealed that this was, in fact, an April Fools' joke and he was staying retired.
