Former world number one Boris Becker has revealed that he has struck a new deal with current world number one Novak Djokovic to remain the Serb's coach.

The German, who has been Djokovic's main coach since December 2013, said that they have a written agreement, even if for sportsmen like them, a handshake is enough.

The 43-year-old also said that their partnership has been crowned with success these past 12 months and added that he is delighted to continue their work with the whole team, Sport24 reported.

The triple Wimbledon champion said that the deal would be as long as the results are there.

Under Becker's guidance, the 27-year-old Djokovic has won six titles in 2014, including a second Wimbledon success, after 2011, and now stands on the brink of finishing the year as world number one heading into next week's ATP World Tour Finals in London.According to Becker, retaining the number one spot has been their main priority while the French Open title is the only Grand Slam still eluding the Serbian, the report added.
