Pace legend Dennis Lillee joins Cricket Australia as bowling advisor

Confirming Lillee’s appointment, CA said on its website that the cricketing legend will provide coaching services, guidance and mentorship to the young, upcoming fast bowlers.

Pace great Dennis Lillee has been appointed as a bowling advisor to the high performance coaching panel of Cricket Australia (CA).

Confirming Lillee’s appointment, CA said on its website that the cricketing legend will provide coaching services, guidance and mentorship to the young, upcoming fast bowlers of the Australian team and the current national men’s team, News.com.au reports.

CA also said although Lillee will be available at all times for the players, he won’t be travelling abroad extensively. The web statement added that Lillee would be closely working with bowling coach, Ali de Winter, as Australia prepares for their upcoming India Test series and the Ashes.

Lillee has previously worked as a bowling coach to the Australian side.
