Ashay Sardesai slams ton on Varroc Cup U-14 cricket

Ashay Sardesai’s unbeaten ton (120) and his two vital partnerships put Ravi Shashtri XI in a commanding position against Sachin Tendulkar XI as they scored 326 for six on the Day One of the Varroc Cup U-14 cricket tournament on Thursday.
Ravi Shastri XI who chose to bat after winning the toss were given a solid start by opener Sardesai who put together 74 runs for the second wicket with Vipul Rathod (57) and 110 for the sixth wicket with Yash Bhojane (61).

In another match at the Vengsarkar Academy ground, Dilip Vengsarkar XI managed to bundle out Sunil Gavaskar XI for 291 runs despite a good start from the latter.
