YU launched another budget smartphone at their event today, this time really pushing the limit on their pricing strata. The YU Yunique is a 4G-enabled HD smartphone for the ultra-low price of just Rs 4,999.

The Yunique packs a 1.2GHz 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, coupled with 1GB DDR3 RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It has 4.7-inch HD 720p display at 312ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, an 8MP f/2.0 rear camera with LED flash and 1080p recording, and a 2MP selfie cam with an 83-degree wide angle lens. It has dual SIM support and is 4G enabled, with 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 32GB). The entire package is powered by a 2000mAh battery and runs on stock Andriod 5.1, though you can also install Cyanogen OS 12.1 on top of that.

The YU Yunique will be available every Tuesday, starting September 15, exclusively on Snapdeal, for Rs 4,999.
