Samsung launches its first ever 6GB RAM phone in China

Samsung launched the C9 Pro, the first ever Samsung smartphone to come out with a 6GB RAM in China. The device is priced at 3,199 Yuan (approximately for Rs 32,000). The phone comes in two colour variants - Gold and Rose Gold and is available for pre-order.

The C9 sports a 6 inch Full HD AMOLED display. Internally, the phone is equipped with a Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is an expansion card slot up to 256GB via microSD card. Moreover, it is backed with a 4000mAh battery and will run on Android Marshmallow out of the box, skinned with TouchWiz OS atop.

Coming to the camera, it features a 16MP on the rear and also on the front with dual tone LED flash. The lenses of both the phones have a wide f1.9 aperture.

The device features a fingerprint sensor on the home button, along with a USB Type-C port, and is integrated with Cirrus HiFi Codec technology, which claims to offer better audio performance.  It also includes Samsung Pay, which will be supported by NFC and Magnetic Secure Transmission.
