Pokemon Duel finally gets official international release

"Pokémon Duel" releases internationally following nine months of Japanese exclusivity.

Digital board game "Pokémon Duel," previously known as "Pokémon Comaster" upon its Japanese debut, has been released internationally for Android and iOS devices.

"Pokémon Duel," whose origins can be traced as far back as 1996's collectible "Pokémon Trading Card Game," has its players attempt to win by moving digital Pokémon figurines into their opponent's goal.

It was launched in April 2016 for Japan and, following the worldwide success of "Pokémon Go" later that year, is now available for international consumption.

Free to play, the game makes money through optional in-app purchases from $0.99 (Approximately Rs 70) up to $79.99 (Approximately Rs 5,400.)
