Live streaming app Periscope just announced that it's tied up with GoPro to let people broadcast their antics, with "putting their phones in precarious situations". The feature has only been announced for iOS so far, so fingers crossed for Android as well.
All you have to do is connect to GoPro Hero 4's WiFi, and make sure it's in video mode, then open Periscope on your iPhone. Hit the the broadcast button and you're already live streaming to your followers. There's even a handy toggle to switch between your phone camera and GoPro; just double tap the button. There's also a new feature that lets you lock your phone screen so you don't hit any buttons by accident.
In a Medium post, GoPro president Tony Bates said, "GoPro enables people to capture and share their experiences in the most immersive way possible, and the integration with Periscope provides GoPro users with a great, real-time platform to share their content.”
