Starting today, Lenovo’s entry-level 4G capable A2010 phone goes on open sale on Flipkart. Considering the aggressive Rs 4,990 pricing of this phone, it isn’t surprising to learn that this is the highest-selling 4G phone in India (based on IDC’s latest Q2 report.)

The phone runs a MediaTek MT6735m 64-bit quad-core 1GHz processor, a 4.5-inch screen, and runs Android Lollipop 5.1. It has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that is expandable via microSD card. The smartphone supports both of the two available LTE brands that are slated for tape-out in India: FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40). The phone has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing selfie cam. Powering the phone is a 2,000mAH battery.

If it’s simple 4G access you’re looking for--even a tethered device that can potentially deliver broadband with other Wi-Fi clients--this is as affordable as it gets. Find more information on the product page on Flipkart here.
