So the Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is up for sale today but, the question is, should you buy it? That, of course, is a subjective question, but there are a few facts that definitely factor in. For instance, what other options do you have if you need a phone in the next week? For one thing, there's the new Le 1S. So let's do a spec--forspec comparison to see how they match up.

By and large, both the K4 Note and the Le 1S are similar in specifications. They both feature 5.5-inch full HD (1920x1080) at 403ppi with 13MP rear cam and 5MP front cam. They're both powered by a 3000mAh battery, though the Le 1S has USB Type C (point to Le), and both support dual 4G SIM cards. They both also have a fingerprint scanner, though the scanner on the 1S also doubles as a shutter button. They both also have 3GB RAM, but  it's on storage where the Le 1S falters.

The Le 1S has 32GB of internal memory with no microSD slot, while the K4 Note, meanwhile, has 16GB packed in but is expandable up to 128GB. Whether that's good or bad depends on how you use your phone. More cloud storage and installed apps means Le's offering is still fine, but a greater reliability on local storage means Lenovo is the one for you.

But moving on to the heart of your device. The Le 1S has the better processor by miles; a 2.2GHz Helio X10 Turbo octa-core processor with PowerVR G6200 GPU capping at 700 MHz, against the K4 Note's 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6753 octa-core. coupled with a Mali T720 GPU capping at 450MHz. If you're a serious gamer, then the Le 1S is a no-brainer for performance. All other specifications considered, it's also important to note the K4 Note has a plastic body with a metal frame, whereas the Le 1S has a more premium aircraft grade aluminium all-metal body.

First impressions, the LeEco Le 1S seems to be the phone to buy, if you know exactly what you want -- performance and gaming, all for a meager Rs 10,999. The Lenovo K4 Note, on the other hand, would be a great buy if you're looking for a good experience. With the bundled TheaterMax viewing headset and the built-in Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound (not to mention all that storage) it's an absolute must for avid movie watchers always on the go. Keep in mind though though that just the phone is for Rs 11,998, whereas the TheaterMax bundle hikes it up to Rs 12,499. And if you decide you're ready to experiment with LeEco's first smartphone offering, registrations for the sale are already open.
