Google launches video calling app for businesses called ‘Meet’

Google has launched a new application called Meet by Google Hangouts, which lets users set up or join HD (high definition) video conferences. The application is currently available on iOS and desktop while there is no mention of an Android version as yet.

The application is part of Google’s range of business-oriented cloud products known as G Suit. 

Meet allows users to make video calls as well as video chats with a maximum of 30 participants and can be linked with other Google services like Gmail and Calendar.

According to the description on iTunes, the app comes with features like dial-in numbers for people on the go.

As explained TechCrunch, On the desktop version, you can join a meeting by entering a code and also see scheduled meeting although there doesn't appear to an option to create a new call.
