This phone delivers everything you would expect from a Rs 20,000 phone. You get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with 3 GB of RAM that powers most applications without any issues at all. You get 32GB of storage which you can supplement with a 128GB microSD card. However, using a micro SD card takes away the ability to install a second SIM card. This trade off feels really unnecessary especially because it doesn't seem like they have made a special effort to make the phone one of the thinnest in the category.

The phone comes with a 5.5" display and looks similar to the company's more competitive model, the K4 Note. The screen has a resolution of 1080x1920 which isn't quite as good as some of the other phones in the market today. However, the Vibe X3 is cheaper than most of those phones, if not all. So it's mainly a price to performance thing. At this price it's a great display. The Lenovo Vibe X3 has a solid exterior that combines both plastic and metal to be able to provide a solid chase overall.

You get an 8 megapixel front camera and a 21 megapixel real camera in this phone. The rear camera utilizes a Sony MX 230 sensor and has an aperture of f 2.0. The camera is capable of shooting video at both 1080p and 4K. The image quality was what you would expect from a camera with these specifications and did the job well.

The phone runs Lenovo's Vibe UI based on Android 5.1. which is cleaner than many interfaces I have come across and also closely resembles stock Android. You do however get a bunch of pre-installed apps that you may or may not want. There are a lot of customization options available so that you can personalise the interface to your liking. In terms of the battery life, I was able to get eight to ten hours of usage from the 3,500mAh battery when using the phone as my primary computing device. If you don't overly rely on your smartphone, you should be able to get away with charging overnight for an entire day's usage.

You also get the TheaterMax technology that is also available on the K4 Note that enables a VR experience on the phone. The tech allows you to convert your video content into a giant cinematic experience when used with a VR headset like the one Lenovo recommends from Ant VR.

Overall, I would say the phone is a good all-rounder and a good buy at its price.
