Ahmedabad gets cooler, rains get nearer

Ahmedabad has witnessed a more than two degree drop in temperature over the past week. Compared at last Thursday’s maximum of 41.9 degree Celsius, Tuesday was relatively easier at 38.8. Meteorology department officials attribute this to the monsoon moving towards the state. While Tuesday’s minimum was 24.4 degree Celsius, sunny skies across Gujarat have been predicted for the next 24 hours. Bhavnagar at 40 degree Celsius topped the Tuesday charts.
