ACB unearthes disproportionate assets of Irrigation engineer

The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)on Tuesday unearthed disproportionate assets worth over Rs 86 lakhs belonging to a Deputy Superintending Engineer in Irrigation Department of the State government.

Acting on a tip-off, the ACB officials conducted simulteneous searches at the residence of Koduru Mahesh, deputy superintending engineer and his relatives' houses in Karimnagar town, ACB sources said.
    
During the searches, it was found that Mahesh was in possession of disproportionate assets worth over Rs 86 lakhs. The details of the assets include 10 plots at Karimnagar
and Hyderabad, five houses at Karimnagar, Warangal and Hyderabad, four acres of agricultural land at Karimnagar besides gold jewellery and bank balances, sources said.
