Dera guru’s body to be flown back

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has sent a special envoy, DS Guru, to bring back the body of Dera Sachkhand deputy chief Ramanand, who was assassinated in Vienna on May 24. Dera chief Niranjan Singh was grievously injured in the attack.

Guru, principal secretary to the CM, took a chartered plane to Vienna to get the Dera chief and the body of his deputy back to Jalandhar where the Dera Sachkhand headquarters is located. They will reach Jalandhar on Thursday.

Guru paid floral tributes to Ramanand in Vienna on Wednesday.
