Delhi chief minister Shiela Dikshit on Sunday hinted that the Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) may join Congress after the elections.

"Nitish Kumar has hinted at joining Congress. But he has not confirmed as yet. He is waiting for the election results to decide which party to support," Dikshit told CNN-IBN.

There are speculations in the political circle that JD(U) may sever links with BJP and join UPA after the elections.

"Talks must be on between Congress and Nitish Kumar at some level. Can't say whether Nitish will support Congress or not," she added.

However, refuting the speculation, BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said, "There is no day-dreaming in democracy. Shiela should take care of her own allies who might join us. JD(U) has said that they will make Advani the PM."
