Brown who has been known to have some of London’s finest clubs and bars rocking will dish out a mix of genres when she will perform in the city on Friday.
Living in the heart of London, DJ Laura Brown has mixed many a tracks for the dance floor. Brown who has been known to have some of London’s finest clubs and bars rocking with beats such as twisted electro house, disco, breaks and tech will dish out a mix of all these genres when she will perform in the city on Friday.
Her eclectic sensibilities have made her play alongside some of the best DJs in the world.
But she’s not only a DJ. She also has her own production company and owns the label Powder Room. Laura is also a vocalist with an interesting voice quality to boot.
Her career began with the track May Be in 1999 which was her first vocal release. It became big in US. Laura didn’t look back since and has worked on many independent releases and remix projects. She brought her work to London in 2004. In 2006, Laura took a stand behind the decks for the first time in Ibiza for the well known Charlys Angelz and has returned every year since. Over the years she has worked with artists like BRS, Run Red, Pete Meade, Lizzie Curious and Leisuregroove. In the year 2008, Laura travelled to three Indian cities for her international tour of India — Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad. But this will be her first performance in Mumbai.
In 2009, Laura will tread on unfamiliar territories by taking her music to places like Shanghai, Egypt, Bahrain and Turkey that are not really familiar with her music to promote her latest albums Twitch and (It's) Done which she launched on the same day in March this year. Currently she is also working on collaborating with one of the most sought after producer’s in the world — Eric Kupper!
