Two more held in TISS gangrape case

Two more persons were arrested on Friday in connection with the gangrape of an American student of Tata Institute of Social Science here, police said.

"Both persons who have been arrested are from the same group," deputy commissioner of Police Dilip Sawant said. 

However, he refused to divulge the identity of the duo. Earlier, three youths-- Anish Pradip Borkataki (22), Kundan Raj Balinkumar Borgonain (22) and Dev Cyrus Kulabawala (21) were sent to police custody till April 28 by a local court after Trombay police said their custody was necessary for interrogation and conducting identification parade and certain tests.

On April 11, the 23-year-old US national had gone out to a night club with a group of six men. She was allegedly gangraped by them in the suburban Andheri home of Kundan where she was taken by the accused to rest.
