Justice Party candidate found dead

Body of an Indian Justice Party candidate from Jaunpur parliamentary constituency was
found hanging from a tree near his residence here on Monday.

The body of Vijay Bahadur Sonker was found hanging from a tree in Raja Saheb Ka Pokhra locality this morning, superintendent of police Vinod Kumar Dohre said.

Sonker's family members have alleged foul play.  Dohre said the body was being sent for post-mortem after which the cause of the death could be ascertained.
