Accusing the Congress of manipulating the CBI in the '84 anti-Sikh riots case involving Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Sunday said if voted to power, the NDA government will set up fast track courts for their speedy trail.

"Only fast track courts can provide justice to the people and satisfy the victims of riots. It will be impressed upon the BJP high command to put it in the Common Minimum programme of the alliance partners," Badal said.

Badal said though he had full faith in the judiciary, he did not believe in the CBI claiming that the agency had "played into the hands of the Congress party". He further criticised the Congress, saying "merely by withdrawing party tickets to Tytler and Kumar, the Congress cannot claim to have put balm on the wounds of Sikhs."

In reply to a question, the chief minister said SAD general secretary Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa will submit the party's election manifesto within next three or four days.
