Aamir launches poll campaign

Aamir Khan has decided to send out voice messages to everybody’s mobile phone urging them to vote. The star will be recording this public message very soon that will be part of a social service initiative launched by an NGO called ADR (Association of Democratic Reform).

Aamir had previously declared that he will be making three advertisements free of cost to support the campaign. The ads are penned by Prasoon Joshi and directed by Rakeysh Om prakash Mehra.

The film and voice message will be unveiled today by Aamir. Aamir hit on the idea when he met with Trilochan Shastri in IIM Bangalore during the shooting of Raju Hirani’s 3 Idiots and got really impressed with the kind of work ADR has been doing since the last eight years.
