Ashlee Simpson denies her marriage is on the rocks

Singer Ashlee Simpson has rebuffed claims that her marriage to rocker Pete Wentz is, um, on the rocks, insisting that "everything is fine".

Simpson was responding to recent reports that suggested that her marriage to Wentz had hit a rough patch as the latter was busy partying while she was left at home looking after their three-month-old son Bronx.

"Ashlee and Pete are on the rocks. He is going out all the time and she's stuck at home. It's just not working," the Daily Express quoted a source as saying earlier.

But Simpson's representatives denied the claim, saying the couple remains happily married and that Wentz will return to their home in Los Angeles, California, after he completes his band's Australian tour.

"This is not true. Everything is fine in their world," a representative for Simpson told The New York Post.
