Man kills wife and son in a fit of rage

In a fit of rage, a 29 year-old man murdered his wife and  son in Kharka village under Sadar police circle area in East District, police said on Thursday.
    
Angry with his wife for not cooking food for dinner on time last night, the assailant Nar Bahadur Kharka first grabbed his one year-old son Basant by his neck suffocating him to death before hacking his wife Leela Khakra to death with a sickle, police said.

The policemen rushed to the spot and arrested the accused, who has been charged under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code, they said.

The bodies of the two were handed over to the family for the last rites following post-mortem, police added.
