United Women's Front, a new national-level political party, with a difference based on ideology of transformative politics was on Friday, inaugurated in the state.

The party was formally inaugurated by wife of former vice-president of India late Krishna Kant Suman Krishna Kant, in the presence of the party state unit president Akkula Jaylaxmi.

Suman Krishna Kant and Akulla Jayalaxmi said that the reason to form another party is that most of the political parties were encouraging "family raaj" and there was no party which did not have charges of corruption, nepotism against some of its members.

Suman Krishna Kant pointed out at the manner money was being laundered in the present elections which was clearly exposed by the media as well as the electronic media. It is unfortunate that lakhs of rupees are being spent on education, health and housing but the funds were not being received by real beneficiaries, they said.

Alleging that rampant corruption, nepotism and violence were growing in the country's political system, they alleged that despite several years of independence women continue to be denied their rightful place in decision making bodies and the chance to shape the destiny of the nation.
