A silent revolution is on in the entire state by women members of Bharatiya Janata Party to throw out the Congress-NCP alliance government at the Centre.

BJP state unit chief of BJP Mahila Morcha, Maneesha Chowdhary has been leading the movement. She says the party's aim is to see the party veteran leader LK Advani as the next prime minister. The movement has gained momentum after the public rally addressed by the party Maharashtra campaign in-charge and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi at Aurangabad on March 5, which witnessed a large turnout.

Talking to this correspondent over phone in the midst of her tour of the state, Chowdhary said that senior leaders of the party had at the Aurangabad rally of women stated that as against the regular reservation of 33 per cent seats in the polls the women will, this time, get only 10 per cent.

She said that at present juncture when the country is facing a critical situation and in the changed political equations "we do not have any grudge and will gladly accept the offer. Our only aim is to see Advaniji as the next prime minister of the country, he is the only person who can lead the country in the present crisis."

She said that BJP has a single point agenda for the next coming weeks and that is to see that maximum number of BJP and Shiv Sena candidates are elected to the Lok Sabha.

Our main target will be towards the miserable failure of the Congress-NCP government at the Centre and the State on all fronts, be it power, shelter, food or law and order situation.

Governments at Centre and state have failed to deliver goods. As far as the women are concerned they are no better, they face a number of problems on all fronts, she said.

Atrocities against women are the order of the day, torture, molestation, rape and manhandling of women is rampant and these crimes have gone unchecked, she said.

Women, especially youngsters, are unsafe in the society due to the rise in crime and criminals in the society, she said.

If these issues are to be addressed then the only way was to support the party that cares for the women, she declared while on her next leg of the tour.

She said that in the case of the state where a number of farmers have committed suicides, not a single women has resorted to the extreme step indicating that they are still bold and will remain so and safeguard the interest of the society.

We will stand erect and face all kinds of eventuality, but what we need is the government that delivers goods and cares for us, she said.
