The first thing that catches your attention is the heart-shaped ring on her finger. But Shilpa Shetty says coyly, "No, I am not yet engaged."

Apart from being in love, a lot of things have been keeping the 33-year-old actor preoccupied. Some, like her latest venture, a partnership with Kiran Bawa for their spa, are known.

Shetty is upbeat about the spa launch. "Not a lot of people know when I had passed out from SSC, I went and did a beautician's course in Chembur," she says. "As a kid, I have always wanted to open a salon and spa. Kiran is a family friend who I was naturally eager to help. I am a spa junkie. Whenever I travel, spas are the first place I visit in a new city."

Shetty would often get brochures from the spas she visited and give them to Bawa, with tips and suggestions on interesting additions to their project.

But unknown to many, Shetty also has a production house, which to date has produced her yoga DVD and will soon be shooting and producing a music video for their team in Jaipur.

From being an actress to a businesswoman, she says, "I belong to a business family and I have helped my dad. I was nobody then. Acting happened by default. I think my transition from acting to business is happening a little late in life. Even so, I am extremely passionate about whatever I do."

On the film front, she says, "I am working on two movies, The Desire and a Sunny Deol production titled The Man. However, the title of the latter is likely to change."

On the personal front, has everything changed since Raj Kundra's entry into her life? She twists the answer a bit and says, "I like to be pampered. When you have a man in your life, then it has to change, or what's the difference?"
