Govt fills vacant posts of PIs

The state home department on Saturday filled 18 vacant posts of the police inspectors (PIs) in the city. The promoted police sub-inspectors will take charge soon. 

With this transfer, the department has covered some important police stations like Navrangpura, Vejalpur, Vastrapur, Kalupur and Karanj. 

Officers from Junagadh, Vadodara, Anand, ACB and ATS have been posted at various police stations. Police officials from Rural Ahmedabad too have been shifted to the city police station areas.

RM Chaudhary has been shifted from ACB to Navrangpura and DR Vadher has been shifted from Narmada district to Ahmedabad Traffic Department.
