Akshay has designs on Ritu Beri

Superstar Akshay Kumar readily gave the nod to designer Ritu Beri and travelled to Delhi despite his busy schedule for a fashion show dedicated to charity. He also bonded very well with Ritu during the show whose proceeds would be donated to help an organisation looking after underprivileged children. Apparently, Akki also requested Ritu to design for men. A source present during the event says, “Akshay always tries his level best to be associated to philanthropy and do something for the needy. He chatted up Ritu Beri who launched her Baby Beri collection in the capital and congratulated her on her noble initiative. The proceeds of this show will go to The Blessed Hearts Foundation, a charity organisation dedicated to work for underprivileged children, and this propelled him to leave work and reach the capital. Post the event he also requested Ritu to launch a new menswear line as not many designers in India design purely for men.”
