A feud over possession of ball during play turned tragic when a five-year-old child was
stabbed to death by his eight-year-old friend at a South Delhi locality on Sunday night.
The two kids were playing with a ball at Tughlakabad Extension area when both of tried to grab the ball, leading to a scuffle. In fit of rage, the elder child attacked the younger one with a knife that was lying near the place, police said.
He hit him on his neck, leading to a rupture in the vein. The child died of excessive bleeding. A FIR was registered at Govindpuri police station. The attacker was taken to a Juvenile Justice home.
