Cairns and Mongia suspended from ICL

NEW DELHI: Chandigarh Lions captain Chris Cairns and middle order batsman Dinesh Mongia were suspended on Monday by the Executive Board of the Indian Cricket League on disciplinary grounds here.
    
South African all-rounder Andrew Hall will now take over the reins as the new skipper of the Lions, an ICL release said without elaborating the reasons behind the step.
    
Sources claimed that both the players will not be allowed to participate in the remaining matches of the tournament.
