Man gets 7-year jail for sexually assaulting school girl

ARUPPUKKOTAI (TN): A 30-year old man was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment by a court here for sexually assaulting a 13-year old girl at Irunchirai near here in Virudhunagar District.
    
According to the prosecution, Ravichandran had sexually assaulted the girl, studying in seventh standard, when she was on her way to the school on April 7 last.
   
On a complaint, the All-women police station personnel here arrested Ravichandran.
   
Sub-Magistrate Paldurai on Saturday found Ravichanran guilty of the charge and sentenced him to seven years imprisonment.
