ADILABAD (AP): A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the killing of six persons of a family, who were burnt to death, at Watoli village in Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh in the wee hours of Sunday.
 
Six persons, including three children, were burnt to death when their house caught fire in the village, which is 13 km from Bhainsa town that witnessed communal violence on Friday during immersion procession of Goddess Durga.
 
Venkateshwarlu, Revenue Divisional Officer of Nirmal division, was appointed as inquiry officer and was asked to submit a report within 30 days, District Collector Ahmed Nadeem, who is camping in Bhainsa, said.
 
While curfew is continuing in Bhainsa town, prohibitory orders under section 144 has been clamped in Nirmal as a precautionary measure, he said.
 
Meanwhile, Home Minister K Jana Reddy along with DGP S S P Yadav visited riot-affected areas in Bhainsa town and Watoli village.
 
After visiting the affected areas, the Home Minister said Rapid Action Force (RAP) would be deployed in violence-hit areas to maintain peace.
