Teen aged lovers commit suicide

GUNTUR, (AP): Two teen aged lovers ended their lives by jumping into river Krishna after their parents asked them to postpone their marriage plan, police said on Thursday.
    
Their bodies were fished out last evening, they added.
    
M Tulasi (18), a resident of Bhagath Singh Nagar and D Srinivas Reddy (19), from Nulakapet, were pursuing intermediate course in private corporate college on the other side of the river here.
    
They used to commute together to college and their acquaintance soon blossomed into love, they added.
    
A few days ago they discussed their wedding proposal with their parents, who advised them to defer their marriage proposal till they complete their education and get decent jobs to supplement the families' meager incomes.
    
The young lovers who did not like the advice, jumped into the river and ended their lives.
    
The parents of teenagers have blamed amorous cinemas and TV serials for the tragedy.
