5 injured in clash over eve-teasing

Five people, including three policemen, were injured in a clash following an eve-teasing incident during a state-level kabaddi match in Ajmer district.

JAIPUR: Five people, including three policemen, were injured in a clash following an eve-teasing incident during a state-level kabaddi match in Ajmer district, police said Saturday.
    
Some boys from a particular community made ugly remarks against women players participating in a competition at a stadium in the Pali Bazar area in Beawar Friday.
    
When male sportspersons came to know about the incident, they went for a lookout for the boys, leading to a clash between them and the members of the community.
    
As police tried to intervene, both the parties started pelting stones at each other in which five people, including three policemen, were injured.
    
The injured policemen were taken to a hospital where their condition was stated to be out of danger, they said.
    
Extra force was deployed in the area to maintain law and order situation which was said to be under control.
    
No one has so far been arrested in this connection.
