GHAZIABAD: A 21-year-old student of Amity University was stabbed by five men at an automobile workshop close to the national capital here, apparently over a love triangle, police said Monday.

Sanjay Sharma, a first year MBA student at the university in Noida, was getting his car repaired Sunday night at a workshop that comes under the Kavi Nagar police station when five youths barged in, stabbed him in the abdomen and fled.

The son of a government employee and resident of Nehru Nagar III locality here, Sanjay reportedly had an affair with a girl in his university, Circle Officer CP Singh said. The attempt on Sanjay's life could be because of a possible love triangle, he added.
