Live bombs recovered in Rampur

RAMPUR: Eleven bombs were recovered from Kalyanpur village under Milak police station of the district, police said on Thursday.

"The bombs, prepared with local devices, were found in the village last evening. They were later defused," Superintendent of police Vir Bahadur Singh said.

"It was a joint operation of three police stations. Three persons along with two girls were arrested and some live cartridges were also recovered from the village," he said.

Meanwhile, four persons with rifles were nabbed on Wednesday near Lalpur dam here, sources said.
