SRINAGAR: A lower court judge has landed into big trouble after Jammu and Kashmir high court ordered an investigation by its vigilance commissioner and relieved him from judicial duties for allegedly producing a fake RBA (resident of backward areas) category certificate to join the state judicial services in 2000.

Mohammad Yousuf Allahi, working as munsif magistrate, has been asked not to take up any judicial work pending the case. After hearing the case, justice Bashir Ahmad Kirmani of the high court directed the vigilance commissioner to place the investigation report before the full bench for further action against the accused.
