Noida family drugged, mom killed

NEW DELHI: In a yet another shocker from Noida, a woman was killed while her husband and her two children were found unconscious after the two domestic helps poisoned them.

The incident took place in the upmarket Sector 50 of Noida where the family was staying. Police suspect that the domestic help had poisoned the family members and fled away with jewellery and cash that was kept in the house.

The three family members were admitted in the hospital on Saturday morning after the neighbours discovered them and their condition is still critical. The cops say the domestic help Aakash had poisoned the dinner he had cooked for the family. Police said that though Ajay Naini, the businessman and his two children ate dinner while wife Nalini had decided against having a meal.

Investigators said that when Aakash and his accomplice started ransacking the house, Nalini woke up and tried to stop them. However, she was overpowered and strangulated  to death. Police recover the body of Nalini in the morning when they entered the house.

Taking lessons from the Aarushi incident, the cops are not taking any chances this time around. They have since cordoned off the building and only the forensic team and fingerprint experts and the police have been allowed to enter the house. The police are not clear what has been stolen. They have asked the medical experts to determine the nature of poison used to drug the family.”
