DAUSA (RAJ): Agitating Gujjars on Friday demanded presence of Congress MP Sachin Pilot as a condition for cremating bodies of 20 protesters killed during May 24 violence.

The Gurjar Samaj at Sikandra in Dausa district has put forward a set of fresh demands including the presence of Pilot at the funeral and release of two rebel BJP MLAs Prahalad Gunjal and Attar Singh Bhadana currently detained in Cental Jail in Jaipur, a senior state government official said.

Meanwhile, groups of Gujjars were moving into Pilupura- Karwadi area in Bharatpur distict to participate in a meeting called by their leader K S Bainsla on Friday on the issue of Rajasthan Government's invitation for talks.
     
The situation at the meeting venue was peaceful, the official said, adding that a strict vigil was being maintained in the area which has seen largescale violence in the Gujjar agitation for ST status.
