NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said on Sunday it was confident of taking power in Karnataka even if it finished only as the single largest party in the assembly.
"One thing is clear that we will be the single largest party," BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said here. "We are improving from last time."
Asked how the BJP would form a government if it did not get a majority in the 224-member house, he said: "There is no problem for us. There are enough people who are not from the JD-S and the Congress to support us."
